On December 27, 2004, space satellites captured the largest explosion ever recorded. At a distance of 30,000 light-years from our planet. Despite the mentioned huge distance, the upper parts of the Earth's atmosphere were affected by the explosion. The cosmic detonation was caused by a magnetar, a neutron star with an extremely strong magnetic field. The decay of its unstable crust is accompanied by massive emissions of high-energy electromagnetic radiation, especially X-rays and gamma rays.

The strength of the magnetic field of the magnetar reaches values ​​up to a thousand trillion times greater than the magnetic field of the Earth. Such a strong magnetic field would easily erase all data from credit cards within a radius of 150,000 km, which is about half the distance from Earth to the Moon. Astronomers have found 12 magnetars in our galaxy so far. Magnetars arise from the deadly agony of giant stars. When such a star ends its life journey, it begins to collapse and turn into a supernova. under certain conditions, a supernova can then evolve into a neutron star and then magnetary. These are born from stars that are up to 40 times more massive than our Sun.

BLACK HOLE (huge gravity) - astronomers have already confirmed with certainty the existence of a crushing force that could be one of the defining phenomena in the entire cosmos. There are black holes in every galaxy. Nothing is safe from them. The black hole has such enormous gravity that nothing escapes it. In the quiet pool you can choose any direction to swim, other conditions prevail in the river. The flow of water here can be so strong that it is only possible to move downstream. And the space around the black hole has the same characteristics as a predatory river. As soon as any object approaches the edge of the black hole for which the "event horizon" has taken hold, it plays with fire. There is no return from this place. The idea of ​​a black hole as a pit is confusing, in fact it is a place from which there is no return, at least not in the form in which the object entered it.

Black holes are not picky, they pack everything they can get their hands on - clusters of gases, planets, stars ... When a star approaches a black hole, it is first torn to pieces. Then its mass is sucked out, similar to when water drains from a sink. In our galaxy, the number of such black holes is in the hundreds of thousands.

The critical distance for falling into a black hole is comparable to the distance between the Earth and the Sun, ie 8 light minutes. Death in a black hole would be quick, but still very painful. The way a black hole kills depends on its size. There are two types of black holes. Most of them have the mass of a star, so their tidal stars (secondary effect of gravity, tidal forces of the Moon are manifested on Earth, for example, by ebb and flow) are strong enough to tear a person far ahead of the event horizon. A potential astronaut would be stretched into spaghetti and then subdivided into individual atoms. In space, we can find giants in the center of galaxies among black holes. Against them, our Sun is literally a nickoku, because a gigantic black hole can be up to a billion times more massive. Recent discoveries suggest that these giants were born at a time when the universe was still very young. These holes then ate uncontrolled gas from the galaxies with which they collided.

Quasar (radio waves, light, ultraviolet, infrared, gamma and X-rays) - is only a few million light-years away, it is a hyperactive galaxy that terrorizes everything that comes its way. This unpredictable behavior is due to the galactic nucleus - the quasar. The quasar needs a supermassive black hole for his life to keep him alive. And even a black hole has to eat something, so it consumes 20 stars a year. The black hole, located in the quasar's core, supplies the entire building with the necessary energy. The quasar is the most energetic mechanism in the universe. It is able to release more energy than 100 Milky Way at a time. Its brightness surpasses our Sun a trillion times. The quasar is formed during galactic collisions and can burn everything in its surroundings so that not even dust is left.

In addition to radio waves and light, the quasar also emits ultraviolet, infrared, gamma and X-rays. So a complete desert for living organisms. A quasar is simply a hyperative black hole. They are very strong and emit light. We can thus observe many wavelengths of their radiation. Strong currents, called blazars, gush from some quasars. Their speed is dizzying, they can handle up to 99.9% of the speed of light. If the Earth got only a few light-years from the deadly stream, it would get a billion times more radiation than it receives from the Sun...
